This practical/theoretical workshop is intended as the first online training session in choreological work led by Claudia Monticone. In this initial meeting, the Structural Model of Human Movement (Valerie Preston-Dunlop) will be introduced, and we will begin to explore the action structure: a first step in understanding how movement works and why it is essential to recognize its components in order to transform it into artistic movement.

Who it is for: professional dancers, dance teachers, choreographers, dance students in training, and anyone interested in working with performative movement.

What you need to participate in the workshop: a minimum amount of space to move – and something to take notes with.
